After spring, as water temperatures rise, the gonads of broodstock begin to develop and gradually mature. Especially before mid-May, the ovary coefficient can reach 15% to 20%. This period is critical for broodstock development, which significantly affects breeding success and fish production. Therefore, it is essential to implement effective management strategies during this time.
First, timely sorting and pooling of broodstock is crucial. To monitor their growth and plan artificial breeding properly, broodstock should be moved into smaller ponds when the water temperature reaches around 10°C. Broodstock that were raised in large wintering ponds should be transferred to small areas of 1 to 2 acres. Before moving them, these smaller ponds must be disinfected thoroughly. Healthy broodstock should be separated from those with poor development, and stocking density should be maintained at 120–150 kg per mu. Each pond should be stocked with only the best individuals, ensuring that when they are caught, other broodstock that are not yet ready remain undisturbed. This also allows for early detection of sick or injured fish, enabling prompt treatment.
Second, feeding should be carefully managed. As water temperatures rise in spring, the gonads enter a period of rapid growth, requiring adequate nutrition. Spring breeding typically relies on fertilizing the pond and cultivating natural food sources. A base fertilizer of 300–500 kg of organic manure per acre should be applied before the breeding season. For broodstock, more animal manure is recommended, while top-dressing should be limited to maintain a balance between live organisms and nutrient richness. Water transparency should be kept around 30 cm, and fertilization should be reduced or stopped 15 days before oxytocin application. Grass-fed broodstock should be given a mix of green and fine feeds, including grass shoots, malt, and leafy vegetables like lettuce and ryegrass. As spawning approaches, green feed should be reduced and eventually stopped. For herbivorous broodstock, snail and clam meat are preferred, supplemented with soybean cake or compound feed.
Third, water management is key. In early spring, the pond depth should be maintained at about 1 meter to help raise water temperature and promote the growth of natural food sources, which benefits fish feeding. Broodstock ponds should be regularly flushed with fresh water to keep the water clean and increase dissolved oxygen levels, supporting better broodstock development.
Fourth, disease prevention is important. Lime should be sprinkled once a week at a rate of 15–20 kg per acre to control pH levels, keeping it between 7.5 and 8.0 to ensure optimal conditions for broodstock development. Regular monitoring and timely intervention are necessary to prevent disease outbreaks and maintain a healthy environment.
Dark Tea Powder
Black tea (dark tea) is named after the black appearance of the finished tea. It is one of the six major tea groups and is a post-fermented tea. The main production areas are Guangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Hubei, Hunan, Shaanxi and Anhui. The traditional black tea is made from high maturity black wool tea, which is the main raw material for pressing tightly pressed tea.
The process of making black tea generally includes four steps: killing, kneading, stacking and drying. Black tea is mainly classified as Hunan black tea (Fu tea, Qianliang tea, black brick tea, Tri-tip, etc.), Hubei green brick tea, Sichuan Tibetan tea (border tea), Anhui Gu Yi black tea (An tea), Yunnan black tea (Pu'er tea), Guangxi Liubao tea and Shaanxi black tea (Fu tea) according to geographical distribution.
The yellow powder in black tea is commonly known as golden flower, a beneficial microorganism, the so-called golden flower, is in the processing of raw materials through the flowering of this special procedure, specifically in the black tea bricks to cultivate a kind of coronary aspergillus substance called coronary scattered cystic bacteria, commonly known as the golden flower, observed under the microscope, each individual golden flower is umbrella-shaped clusters, the whole body is golden and eye-catching, ringed into a group, evenly distributed.
