Now, after many sheds open the shed in the morning, the temperature in the shed is mostly between 17-19°C. According to the law of temperature change in sheds, the temperature at the upper part of the penthouse should reach 20°C or more. In this way, the respiration is strong, the organic nutrients are consumed much, and the energy released is too much, leading to excessive plant nutrient overgrowth and the occurrence of leggy; at the same time, due to the large consumption of organic nutrients, the flower buds and fruits do not receive enough nutrients for their growth. The occurrence of falling fruits and the increase of malformed fruit, which is often said by the farmers, “they do not bear fruit”.

It is understood that in the control of daytime temperature, vegetable farmers can control the temperature according to the temperature demand of vegetable growth. Such as pepper, eggplant and other daytime general control at 28-30 °C, the maximum does not exceed 32 °C. The control of the daytime temperature not only avoids the problem of poor flower bud differentiation caused by high temperatures, but also increases the photosynthetic rate and is conducive to the accumulation of organic nutrients. However, the negligence of nighttime temperature control makes the night temperature too high, wasting a lot of organic nutrients, and therefore the plant growth and flowering results are poor.

Therefore, the current greenhouse vegetable management should be good night temperature control, appropriately reducing the night temperature. The different needs of night temperature can be controlled according to different vegetables. Such as pepper should be controlled at 15-17 °C; cucumber should be controlled at 13-15 °C and so on. According to the specific conditions of the shed, adjust the customs clearance and shed time, such as changing the traditional 20 °C off the wind, 18 °C shed to 17 °C about off the wind, 15 °C or so shed. When the minimum temperature in the shed is maintained at about 13°C, it can no longer be kept warm. The floating membrane on the grasshopper is removed in time. When the temperature is too high at night, the air outlet can be opened and ventilated to reduce the temperature; the grasshopper can also be placed in a few places, and the shutter can only be placed in half the position of the greenhouse.
