Talking about the main points of laying chickens

The reproductive behavior of chickens involves a complex and well-coordinated process between male and female hens. When a rooster and hen naturally mate, the hen’s cloaca becomes everted, making it more receptive to mating. The rooster's copulatory organ, located at the end of the vas deferens, is composed of a cloacal membrane that can swell with lymph and become slightly erect. During mating, the rooster deposits a portion of his semen onto the hen’s cloaca, which then travels through the oviduct via the peristaltic movement of the goblet cells. If no egg is present in the oviduct, sperm can reach the infundibulum within 30 minutes, where they are stored and may fertilize an egg as it develops. Mating typically occurs more frequently in the afternoon, and hens usually produce fertilized eggs approximately 20 hours after mating. In a breeding flock, the fertility rate generally stabilizes within three days of the start of mating. However, once males and females are separated, the proportion of fertilized eggs gradually declines, with the decline becoming more rapid after four to five days. Regarding sexual maturity, roosters begin producing primary spermatocytes at six weeks of age, with secondary spermatocytes appearing by ten weeks. By twelve weeks, these cells develop into spermatozoa, and the rooster reaches full sexual maturity around twenty weeks. Breeding can start at twenty-two weeks to ensure a higher fertility rate. Premature mating often results in low fertilization rates, so it's important for both roosters and hens to be in their peak reproductive phase simultaneously for optimal results. Roosters can be used for breeding from 22 weeks of age and remain effective until 72 weeks, with no significant drop in fertility. They can be kept in breeding for up to three years. Hens, on the other hand, start laying eggs at 26 weeks and can continue for another 48 weeks, during which time their fertility rate can reach as high as 86.3%. High-quality breeding hens may be productive for two to three years. The ratio of roosters to hens plays a crucial role in determining egg fertility. Larger, older roosters can handle fewer hens, while younger, healthier roosters can manage more. In summer, fewer hens are needed, but in fall, winter, and spring, one rooster can effectively mate with a larger group. A general guideline is 1 rooster to 12–15 hens for light layers, and 1:10–12 for light and heavy layers. Hens tend to lay most of their eggs between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, accounting for 70%–80% of daily production. Mating activity peaks in the late afternoon, about 4–6 PM, when most hens have already laid their eggs for the day. This timing ensures maximum mating frequency and improves overall fertility in the flock.

Vitamin Series

Vitamin C is necessary for the formation of antibody and collagen, tissue repair (including some redox effects), metabolism of phenylalanine, tyrosine and folic acid, utilization of iron and carbohydrate, synthesis of fat and protein, maintenance of immune function, hydroxylation of 5-hydroxytryptamine, maintenance of vascular integrity, promotion of non heme iron absorption, etc. at the same time, vitamin C also has Antioxidant function, Anti free radicals, inhibit the formation of tyrosinase, so as to achieve whitening, light spot effect. In human body, vitamin C is a highly effective antioxidant, which is used to reduce the oxidative stress of ascorbate peroxidase (ascorbate peroxidase) Sch. There are also many important biosynthesis processes that require vitamin C participation.

L-serine Powder is a neutral aliphatic hydroxyl amino acid, which is a non essential amino acid. It plays a role in the metabolism of fat and fatty acids and the growth of muscle. It is mainly used in compound amino acid preparation to supplement amino acid. L-Cystine Powder assists in skin formation and is important for detoxification. By reducing the body's ability to absorb copper, cystine protects cells from copper poisoning. In addition, it assists the supply of insulin, which is necessary for the body to use sugar and starch. It can also promote the redox of cells, make the liver function exuberant, promote the proliferation of white blood cells, and prevent the development of pathogenic bacteria.Pullulan Powder is a kind of extracellular water-soluble mucopolysaccharide produced by Aureobasidium pullulans fermentation, which is similar to dextran and xanthan gum. It has good film-forming property and can be widely used in the preservation of fruits, vegetables, eggs and other agricultural products. It is widely used in beverages, baking materials, natural additives for candy, Pressed Candy, Solid Beverage, etc. Lactulose Powder is an organic compound, which is a disaccharide composed of galactose and fructose. It is widely used in health products and Food Additives.
