I. Symptoms: The diseased turtle's body is edematous, as if it were injected with water. The soft-shelled turtle that hibernates at the bottom of the pool on a sunny day, after being stimulated by direct sunlight to the bottom of the pool, often crawls out of the sand and slowly climbs to the bottom of the pool or sticks to the bottom. Once in the evening, it drills into the sand again. Due to the depletion of physical energy, the dissolved oxygen that turtles need to consume also increases. As a result of the increase in oxygen demand, the frequency and the amount of water absorption of the soft-shelled turtle increases, and the water that enters the body will not be drained for a time and will infiltrate into the body tissue, causing edema.
Third, prevention and treatment: Winter and spring temperatures can not relax management. 1. Strengthen water quality management. When water is cleared, apply 1.5 kg of urea per 667 square meters of water, and keep the water transparency from 40 cm to 50 cm. At the same time to keep the water cool, rich in dissolved oxygen, with particular attention to the lack of oxygen in the bottom water. 2.
