At present, the technologies for gas production, gas storage, and gas transmission in the construction of biogas in China are becoming more and more mature, but the waste in the use of biogas is rather serious.

1. Causes of waste and major problems

1 The design pressure cooperation is not ideal. The biogas stove is designed for a rated pressure of 80 to 85 mmH 2 O and a cell pressure equal to 10 to 12 times the furnace pressure. When the pool pressure is 0.5~1.5 times of the design pressure of the biogas furnace, no tempering, off-fire, and yellow flame are performed; when the pressure exceeds 1.5 times the design pressure, the biogas furnace will have a large sound and a strong odor when it is opened. Incomplete combustion causes a waste of biogas.

2 Gas pipeline pressure loss. In the gas pipeline, the pressure loss varies with the diameter of the pipeline. The smaller the diameter, the greater the pressure loss. The greater the pressure loss, the more the waste of biogas.

3 Biogas furnaces have low thermal efficiency. Most of the currently used biogas furnaces have low thermal efficiency, such as a thermal efficiency difference of 5% to 6%, which means that more than 10% of biogas is wasted. The biogas stoves with lower efficiency are less efficient after being used for several years. If they are not replaced, the waste will be more serious.

4 Old-style cooking utensils are not suitable for use with gaseous fuels. At present, only a very small number of users in rural areas have replaced new energy-saving cooking utensils (such as pressure cookers). Most households still follow their original cooking habits, use old cookware, and waste gas.

2, to solve the above problems

1 Change the geometry of the biogas digester, establish a rectangular biogas digester, adopt the method of feeding in the middle layer and discharging the bottom layer, and control the pressure of the digester to be 2-4 times of the pressure of the biogas furnace.

2 The use of a dormant biogas digester as a gas storage tank, the gas pipeline is connected in parallel with another tank, the pressure is obviously reduced, and the gas consumption can be increased. This method can be used in two pools or three pools. The addition of a 1-1.5 cubic meter gas tank can also receive the same effect.

3 The user uses the control switch to adjust the pressure of the biogas furnace.

4 Use galvanized pipes and PVC rigid pipes as gas pipelines for biogas.
