(3) Boron mud is the residue after preparation of borax and boric acid, grayish white powder, containing 0.5% to 2.0% of boron and 20% to 30% of MgO. The aqueous solution is alkaline. Due to the low boron content, it is only suitable as base fertilizer.
(4) Boron-containing superphosphates contain 0.6% boron, gray-yellow powder, and the main components are soluble in water. Yi Ji Shi.
2. Application method
(1) The base fertilizer boron fertilizer has the best effect on the soil with moderate or severe boron deficiency. Every 667m2 can use 0.5 ~ 0.75 kg borax mixed with dry fine soil or organic fertilizer, after the ditch strip application or acupuncture, or with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other fertilizers together after the basic application, but avoid direct contact with the boron fertilizer seed (Live) or seedlings (transplanting), so as not to affect the germination, emergence and growth of young roots, seedlings. Should not be deep-turned or spread, the amount should not be too large, if every 667m2 application of borax more than 2.5kg, it will reduce the emergence rate, and even die cut production.
(2) Borax or boric acid is preferred for soaking soaking seeds. Usually borax is first dissolved in hot water at 40°C, then diluted with cold water to 0.01% to 0.03% borax or boric acid solution. The seeds are poured into the solution and soaked in 6～8. h, species, liquid ratio of 1:1, remove and dry after sowing.

3. Precautions
Excessive application of lime in acid soils such as red soil, yellow brown soil, and purple soil can lead to boron deficiency. The soil is dry or low-lying and has poor drainage. It also easily leads to boron deficiency in the soil. The post-effect of the application of boron fertilizer in soil can generally be maintained for 2 to 3 years, and the vegetable crops with less boron need to be maintained for about 5 years. In general, when the water-soluble boron content of the soil is less than 0.5 mg/kg, the application of boron fertilizer has a good effect.
