And even more serious is that after years of using a rotary cultivator, the plough bottom layer is easy to form under 13-15 cm, which is not only unfavorable for deep rooting of the root system, but also causes premature failure of vegetables, and it is also prone to water accumulation and fertilizer and causes root damage. In recent years, the occurrence of yellow leaves frequently occurs during the middle period of vegetable growth, especially in the cold winter and spring seasons. Therefore, I think that after using a rotary cultivator to break up the basal fertilizer and evenly mix it into the shallow cultivation layer of the soil, it is better to use the rake to deepen it once more. The plough bottom layer should be broken, and its depth can be 25-30 cm.

Fourth, the soil disinfection, reduce or eliminate the number of pathogenic bacteria in the soil; with the protection of the root system when planting points, reduce the chance of pathogens infecting the root system.

The most common measures for soil disinfection are: high-temperature stuffy sheds, or high-temperature stuffy sheds combined with lime-nitrogen fumigation.
