Three kinds of daily food for children

Children between the ages of 3 and 6 must have the following types of food daily:

The first type, foods that supply protein. Mainly milk, eggs, lean meat, animal liver, animal blood and soybean and soybean products.

The second category is foods that supply vitamin C (ascorbic acid), carrots, and minerals. There are carrots, canola, cabbage, celery, spinach and other dark vegetables and fruits. Among them, dark vegetables have a high content of carotene and are the main source of vitamin A in infants and young children, and contain certain calcium and iron. Therefore, infants and young children should eat dark vegetables. In addition, radish, cauliflower, cabbage, Chinese cabbage and other light-colored vegetables also contain some vitamin C and minerals, but not as rich as dark-colored vegetables.

The third category is to provide heat-based cereals, fats and sugars. Cereals supply 50-60% of the calories needed by young children, and can also provide more than 30% of protein, or the main source of vitamin B1 and nicotinic acid. The vitamins and inorganic salts of cereals are mainly distributed in the grain embryos and wheat hulls. Therefore, attention should be paid to the thickness and consumption of fine rice noodles. Sugar should not be too much, but also pay attention to oral hygiene to prevent dental caries.
