1. Fur quality: twice a year, the rams produce an average of 1.6-2.0 kg of wool, 1.3-1.8 kg of ewes, and a net hair rate of more than 60%. The hair's shine and elasticity are good. The two furs are lambs that are slaughtered at about the age of one month and are the main products of Tan sheep. Its characteristics are: white hair, long hair and wavy bending, forming a beautiful flower case, light and soft fur. Beach lambs, whether in the prenatal or postnatal period, grow faster than other breeds of sheep. At the time of first birth, the length of the wool strands is about 5.4cm, and the length of the strands after birth is about 8cm. At this time, the wool stocks are long and tight, and the fur stocks made from the fur garments are not loose.
2, meat production performance: Tan sheep meat tender, fat distribution, no smell. Under the conditions of grazing, the weight of adult awakening sheep can reach 51.0 to 60.0 kg, and the slaughter rate is 45%. The adult ewes weigh 41 to 50 kg and the slaughter rate is 40%. Eryang lamb has a body weight of 6-8 kg and the slaughter rate is 50%. With less fat, the meat is more tender and delicious.
3, reproductive performance: Tan sheep rams to 6 to 7 months of age, ewes to 7 to 8 months of age, sexual maturity. The suitable breeding age is 2.5 to 6 years for rams and 1.5 to 7 years for ewes. The estrus begins in July each year, and the heat season is from August to September. The estrus cycle is 17 to 18 days, and the estrus duration is 26 to 32 hours. Pregnancy is 151-155 days. The lambing rate is 101% to 103%.
