Nursery farms daily work

(1) Observe the condition of the pigs. Every day, a thorough inspection of the herd is required to observe the pigs. Observe each pig in each column, register abnormal pigs, and remove dead and isolated piglets that require special care. Observe carefully the pigs who do not want to eat, because this may be the sign of the pig's illness, so it should not be taken lightly and the cause should be immediately identified.

(2) Check the working conditions of the equipment while cleaning the pig bar, such as whether the water filter is clogged or leaking, whether the heating equipment is working properly, whether the temperature inside the house is too high or too low, the humidity and the ventilator are not consistent, and the requirements are clear. Excess feed.

(3) Feeding piglets for feed. Feeding the amount of feed to the principle of basic consumption, try to keep the feed in the feed tank fresh. Before the end of the conservation period - weeks begin. Appropriately increase the proportion of materials in the growth and finishing period, and prepare for the transfer to the growth and finishing house later.

(4) Clean and sterilize the pigshed just vacated. First use a high pressure tap to thoroughly clean the sire and various equipment, and then use a strong disinfectant (such as bleach, NaOH solution, formalin, etc.) to spray and disinfect. Then wait for a week to accept the next batch of pigs.

(5) Nursery piglets are also prone to diarrhoea, and it is found that sick pigs should be treated together in the entire pen. For piglets with severe diarrhea, electrolyte solutions should be added in addition to antibiotics.

(6) Streptococcus, pig erysipelas, and porcine pulmonary epidemic triple vaccines were injected around 40 days of age, and a single vaccine was injected before the end of the conservation period. Dilute and shake according to the prescribed method when injecting to ensure that the equipment is clean and strictly sterilized. Use one needle per piglet and inject the required dose into the correct site.

(7) In vivo deworming should be performed at the age of 8 weeks, and levamisole can be intramuscularly injected at 8mmol/kg body weight. Transfer to the growth and finishing house before - week, with 1% ~ 2% solution of trichlorfon spray to kill the ectoparasite (note that when spraying, mix with water and prevent pig poisoning).

(8) Fill in the juvenile nurse card to record the weight gain of the juvenile nursery, the average live weight transferred into the transfer, the survival rate, feed consumption, disease, and cause of death.
