1. The efficiency of the pump indicates the efficiency of the pump. It reflects the use of the pump by the pump. It is usually represented by the symbol η, and its level is measured in %. If the power loss in the pump is relatively low, then the efficiency of the pump is high, and the required shaft power is small; conversely, when the power loss in the pump is large, the efficiency of the pump is low and the required shaft is low. The power is large, indicating that the quality of the pump is poor and the equipment is unreasonable. This shows that efficiency is a very important technical and economic indicator to measure the performance of a pump. The efficiency indicated on the nameplate refers to the highest efficiency that this pump can achieve when operating at rated speed.
2. The speed of the speed pump refers to the number of revolutions per minute of the pump impeller, which is denoted by the symbol n, and its unit is rev/min. The pump is designed, manufactured and operated at a certain speed. When the speed changes, other operating parameters will change accordingly. Therefore, the speed is an important technical indicator to determine the performance of the pump. The speed indicated on the nameplate of the pump refers to the speed of the pump at the highest efficiency, which is called rated speed. The corresponding marked flow, head, power and other parameters all refer to the performance of the pump running at rated speed.
3. It is allowed to suck up the vacuum height. It explains the water absorption performance of the pump, and it is used to determine the installation height of the pump. It is denoted by the symbol Hs and the unit is meter. It should be pointed out that the Hs marked on the nameplate refers to the maximum suction stroke that the pump itself has, and it does not consider the loss head of the suction line.
